Beloved Beasts is a narrative history of conservation that follows the scientists, activists, & flawed heroes who fought to save species—from bison to condors—& shaped modern environmentalism. Books on Tap members will explore together to understand the historical evolution & complex realities of efforts to protect the natural world. Meet at Dark Horse Brewery Commons: 511 S Kalamazoo Ave, Marshall, MI. Full food menu & $3 cans available for participants; no purchase necessary to participate. Weather permitting, we will be in the Beer Garten. This title is available at the library, as an audiobook via Libby & Hoopla, & through MelCat. Registration is required.
