Needle Felting for Adults: Spooky Eyeballs

Join us for this needle felting craft where we will create creepy eyeballs out of wool fiber, just in time for Halloween! These eyeballs can be used as decoration, hung up, affixed to a pin for a broach, gifted as a fun memento, or any other unique use. Limit of one eyeball per person. Needle felting is a craft that uses barbed needles to interlock wool fibers, sculpting loose wool into solid, three-dimensional objects, or two-dimensional designs. By repeatedly stabbing the wool with the needle, the fibers become tangled and compressed, creating a firm, felted material. All materials will be provided. No experience necessary. For the safety of participants, this program is for Teens and Adults only. Library staff may take photos, videos, or audio recordings at our events. Please tell us if you do not wish to be photographed, video-recorded, or audio-recorded. We will always respect your requests! An ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter or closed captioning can be provided for this program if requested at least seven (7) days in advance.
