It’s time to reconnect to our angsty roots with this tribute to emo, pop punk, scene, metal, and other alt music classics! Think Warped Tour with a spooky twist, chock-full of both nostalgic hits and newer releases from the late 90’s and onward Join us for a sinister, seductive, and high energy dance show with special guest groups Elite Dance Co, Rebelle Burlesque, and Rebelle Jazz. 18+ only, bring cash for tips! Photo by: Jasmine Hood Founded by Kendra Lady and Hannah Flier in early 2025, Moxie Dance Collective is a heels, jazz, and burlesque-focused adult dance group in Eugene. They strive to provide an inclusive environment in which adults of all ages and experience levels can train, choreograph, and perform together. The word “moxie” represents determination, tenacity, and perseverance. In addition to performance opportunities, they occasionally host free/donation based community dance classes and workshops. There is no cost to join Moxie as a performer (nor is an audition required) and all tips and show earnings are shared equally amongst the dancers. Rehearsals are held every Sunday from 2-4 PM at Rebelle Movement, an adults-only dance studio run by Lou Moulder, which also offers a variety of fun classes for anyone 18+. In the last year, they have performed at local venues such as the WOW Hall and John Henry’s, with show themes spanning from Broadway to horror to wrestling/WWE.
