This month staff will highlight a selection of mollusk shells, from freshwater mussels close to home to striking examples from around the world, such as cone snails and nautiluses. Mollusks are one of the largest animal groups with an estimated 200,000 species worldwide. From terrestrial mountain tops to hot vents in the deep sea, they live in a variety of environments. Stop by to learn more about these amazing animals!
