Long Form Workshop Day 2 by Middle Age Comeback

This is an excellent opportunity to learn from the best! We are excited to bring you Middle Age Comeback, the improv comedy duo that started at iO Chicago, for two days of long form improv workshops. We recommend taking both workshops, as the second builds upon the first, but it is not required. Don’t miss their two shows on April 24th and 25th, too! Tickets are on sale now. DAY 2 – LONGFORMS OH YES!! Lets learn over 8 new long forms! From structure specific forms like the Montage, Harold and the Deconstruction to the Organic forms Sauce and Hourglass. We explore Monologue based forms such as the Armando and the Album and also Tag based pieces La Ronde, Beer Shark Mice, Typewriter and Scene Chain. All of these Longforms share similar traits yet each one also has unique dynamics that we will explore through doing each piece. Basic improv experience is recommended. After a five-year run at iO Chicago, the duo took the show on the road, performing coast-to-coast at venues including UCB New York, OKC Improv, and stages across Michigan, Oklahoma, Alaska and Texas.
