Long Form Workshop Day 1 by Middle Age Comeback

This is an excellent opportunity to learn from the best! We are excited to bring you Middle Age Comeback, the improv comedy duo that started at iO Chicago, for two days of long form improv workshops. We recommend taking both workshops, as the second builds upon the first, but it is not required. Don’t miss their two shows on April 24th and 25th, too! Tickets are on sale now. DAY 1 – SCENEWORK Improv scenes with a focus on energy and also performance space stage picture in order to create character and get into scenes deeper and quicker. Techniques that will help you understand how to be aware of your own personal energy. Learning how to dominate your space and play with more confidence in your own choices. We will also teach some fundamental longform virtues such as Initiating scenes and how to call scenes back among others in this active scenic workshop. Basic improv experience is recommended.
