Community Room. Let's celebrate Dinovember with dinosaur-themed crafts and activities at Little Explorers. Little Explorers is a monthly creativity-based program for families with toddlers and preschoolers. Join us on the first Friday of the month to explore new ways to play and learn! Free, with limited capacity. Vehicle parking may be limited. A small number of strollers may be parked outside the Children's Room; no strollers in the Community Room, please. Sensory Notes: - Sound: Little Explorers can often be noisy with the sounds of play, as well as background music. Let the librarian know if you would like to borrow a pair of ear defenders for your child. - Visuals: Little Explorers may be visually busy with kids at different activity stations, using bright colors and craft supplies. - Texture: Different stations at Little Explorers may include wet or sticky textures as part of a craft or activity. Children are always free to skip these activities if they prefer. For accessibility accommodations (ex. ASL), please fill out the online form at sccld.org/accessibility 7+days prior to the event.
