Wander with us through the Historic Park while a local storyteller shares some of the region’s most cherished and passed‑down tales. Each stop along the historic layout becomes a backdrop for a different piece of Appalachian folklore. From tall tales and long-held truths to mysterious mountain spirit stories preserved across generations of Southern families. Your curiosity will roam as you hear about Folk Magic, Water Witching, Nature Lore, and the superstitions woven throughout Southern Appalachia. Whether you’re a lover of stories or simply looking for a unique way to welcome fall, this is an evening of history, mystery, and mountain magic you won’t want to miss.
