Learn Sewing: Hem a Napkin

Greenhouse Community Room. Come learn the basics of sewing! A staff member will provide an overview of the basics and share a simple project, creating homemade cotton napkins. No experience required. If you have your own sewing machine in working condition, feel free to bring it! Please note we cannot fix broken machines or troubleshoot problems for personal machines. We have 7 sewing machines. This program is first come, first serve. Get a ticket at the front desk starting at 1:30pm. If you would like to come with a friend or family member and can share a machine, only one person needs a ticket. Members must be 16 years or older to participate in this program. Library staff may take photos, videos, or audio recordings at our events. Please tell us if you do not wish to be photographed, video-recorded, or audio-recorded. We will always respect your requests. An ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter or closed captioning can be provided for this program if requested at least seven (7) days in advance. For assistance, please contact your library or accessibility@aclibrary.org.
