Get your cutlery ready for Thanksgiving & Christmas. A representative from John's Knife Sharpening Service will be in our Housewares department during the event hours. Items will be taken to the workshop for sharpening and returned to The Little Traveler for pickup at a later date. Can't make the event date? The Little Traveler serves as a drop-off point for this service any time during regular store hours—LEARN MORE. Sharpens knives, household & fabric scissors, and garden tools. This service matches timeless skills & knowledge with today's sharpening technology to give you the sharpest edge possible. Restores your cutlery to like new or even sharper! State of the art sharpening equipment is used along with traditional methods. With over thirty years of experience, John's Knife Sharpening Service thoroughly checks each piece before it's returned to customers to make sure it meets their high standards for sharpness. Pricing ($12 Minimum per Transaction) Knives - $5-$10 (depending on length and if serrated) Additional charge for blades longer than 12" Small chips and broken tips will be an additional $3 Large chips and reshaping are an additional cost to be determined upon examination of severity of damage Household & Fabric Scissors - $8-$12 Please note that our repair expert cannot sharpen left-handed scissors or hair scissors Garden Tools - $8-$13 If disassembly and assembly are required to sharpen blades, add $5
