In-person Medicare 1:1 Counseling (Appointment Only)

Personalized Medicare counseling is available by appointment only. Email jwooten@kcls.org to secure your appointment. We will be scheduling between 1:00pm-4:00pm These 45-minute sessions are typically one-on-one, but family members, caregivers, and friends are welcome to attend for support. Our trained SHIBA volunteers provide free, unbiased, and confidential counseling to help you understand Medicare, compare coverage options, enroll in Medicare, identify programs that may lower your costs, find community resources, and report potential Medicare fraud. Statewide Health Insurance Benefits Advisors (SHIBA) is a free Medicare counseling program offered in partnership with the Washington State Office of the Insurance Commissioner.
