Come see Chava Maimon, author of the children's book Cocoa's Busy Day. Join Cocoa, and his human friend Julie, for a day of guinea pig adventures. Whether it's time to eat, play, or take a nap, Cocoa is engaging and loads of fun while demonstrating how guinea pigs differ from and are similar to human children. By developing a friendship with Cocoa, children learn much more than proper guinea pig care; they also gain lessons in compassion and giving, all while having fun! Chava Maimon is an educator and designer. Her experience with guinea pigs began over 25 years ago as a child growing up in the Richmond area. Now joined by her husband, Chava leverages her expertise to help advance learning for all. Read, discuss, and connect with other writers and readers in our community.
