About this event

Step into the role of a real weather observer at historic Blue Hill Observatory. During this private, 75-minute guided experience, you’ll use the same instruments and time-tested methods employed by Observatory scientists to take an actual weather measurement—and see how it contributes to our continuous climate record dating back to 1885. Your guide will take you behind the scenes of one of the world’s most historically significant weather stations, explain how official observations are made, and reveal why consistent measurements from the summit of Great Blue Hill remain important to weather and climate science today. Designed for one participant or a small group of up to three people. Advance reservations are required. LEARN MORE / GET TICKETS
