This practice is about emotional liberation vs. physical flexibility. This class is accessible to everyone. No previous yoga experience is needed. This class is designed for anyone navigating loss, whether recent or long-term and provides a safe, supportive space for individuals to process grief, find emotional release, and reconnect with their bodies. Whether you're new to yoga or an experienced practitioner, the sessions are tailored to meet you where you are on your healing journey. Free and open to adults. Registration is required. Facilitator Bio: Kim Bernardo is a 500-Hour certified yoga teacher, and also holds certifications in Grief Yoga, Trauma-Informed Yoga, Meditation and Yin. She discovered Grief Yoga after the loss of her parents when she was looking for an outlet and release for her emotions. Her practice, passion and knowledge of yoga (and meditation) has grown over the years and she loves to spread that knowledge to others. Kim’s classes are always a judgement free space, and a place for students to learn and explore new areas.
