Salem Family Auditorium. Join The Nature Conservancy for a conversation with Rhode Island State Director John Torgan on Wednesday, October 14 at 7 pm. Following the presentation, there will be an informal reception in the Collis Family Gallery. Co-sponsored by the Barrington Public Library. REGISTER HERE As a global conservation organization, TNC is working to create a world where nature and people thrive. John Torgan will lead a virtual tour of coastal restoration projects in the East Bay, from Crescent Park to Echo Lake to Hundred Acre Cove and the Palmer River. Learn how these local projects in Rhode Island are informing larger scale efforts to strengthen coastlines and improve fisheries science across the Northeast. Free and open to all.
