When Matthew Russo's nanny unexpectedly passes away, he's devastated by the loss. To cheer him up, his three best friends decide to have a sleepover complete with junk food, prank calls, and scary movies. But when Matt's single mother has to work the night of the sleepover, she hires a new nanny to watch over them. Miss Swan seems like the perfect babysitter, but Matt is suspicious. He soon starts to think that she might be the witch rumored to live in the woods behind their neighborhood. The boys and Matt's sister Judy soon find themselves in their own version of a scary movie.
