Founded in 1969, the band cemented its place in rock ‘n’ roll history with mega-hits such as “We’re An American Band,” “I’m Your Captain/Closer To Home,” “The Loco-Motion,” and “Some Kind Of Wonderful,” selling more than 25 million records in its storied career.
