Featuring the UB Española Improv Troupe, Cup of Noodles, alongside performers from Santa Fe Improv, this free event spotlights homegrown talent from the Española Valley and beyond. This showcase marks the culmination of a unique and growing partnership between UB Española—a college access program based at Northern New Mexico College serving first-generation college-bound students at Española Valley High School—and Santa Fe Improv, a leading regional performing arts organization. Since summer 2025, Santa Fe Improv has worked with UB students through classes and mentorship, helping them develop skills in improvisation, collaboration, and performance. What started as a workshop quickly became something bigger. By December, students had formed their own troupe, Cup of Noodles, and taken the stage alongside adult performers. This spring, through the Future Focused Education X3 Internship Program, these students have taken their training even further—gaining hands-on experience in ensemble work, creative risk-taking, and live performance.
