No prior improv experience is needed. Students simply need curiosity and a willingness to collaborate. Throughout the week, students will: • Learn the fundamentals of improvisation (“Yes, And,” listening, ensemble) • Develop confidence speaking in front of others • Practice thinking on their feet and trusting their instincts • Build authentic connections with peers • Explore character and short-form performance games Each day blends structured teaching with hands-on scene work and rehearsal. Students are guided by two professional teaching artists, ensuring individualized attention in a small-group setting (maximum 12 students). The week culminates in a live Friday showcase during the last hour of camp on the Santa Fe Improv stage for family and friends.
