On the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month, there will be a free movie matinee in the Library’s Community Room. The movies, all curated by Librarian Linda Reimer, are selected with adult viewers in mind. No need to sign up, just show up. This Month’s Matinee Movie will be: On Golden Pond, directed by Mark Rydell and starring Katherine Hepburn, Henry Fonda, and Jane Fonda. Released in 1980, the film is rated PG and runs 1h 49m. The Plot: Curmudgeon Norman is estranged from his daughter Chelsea. Nevertheless, at Golden Pond he and his wife agree to look after Billy, the son of Chelsea’s new boyfriend, and a most unexpected relationship blooms.
