About this event
The popular Bollywood Fusion workshop returns with a brand-new routine for the festive season! Led by Harshita Verma, a performing artist with over 15 years of experience, this fun, beginner-friendly workshop introduces participants to the vibrant world of Indian dance. Learn energetic Bollywood moves alongside elements of Bharatanatyam, one of India's oldest classical dance forms, known for its graceful hand gestures, rhythmic footwork, and expressive storytelling. You'll pick up dance steps perfect for Garba nights, Navratri, Diwali parties, weddings, and New Year celebrations while gaining a deeper appreciation of Indian dance and culture. No dance experience is needed—just bring your energy, curiosity, and love of music! For Adults. Registration not required. Please arrive early. Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Sponsored by the Friends of The Sammamish Library. Reasonable accommodation for people with disabilities is available by request.
