Family Warli Drawing Workshop

About this event

Children and their families are invited to a Warli drawing workshop lead by local artist Priya of Craft Rays! Participants will be introduced to this traditional art form from the Warli tribes of Maharashtra, India, and create their own Warli-inspired paintings that tell stories of nature and animals. Sponsored by the Friends of the Sammamish Library. Ages 6 and older. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Registration not required, but space is extremely limited. "Tickets" will be available at the info desk 15 minutes before the start of the program. Arrive early to secure your spot!
