Please join us for an easy hike to the three scenic points of Dear Trap Mesa. Length: 3 miles ... Elevation gain: 221 ft ... Route type: Loop ... Dogs: Yes Dear Trap Mesa is named for a game pit close to the start of the trail. Walking is easy except for a short scramble near the trail head. The trail forms a loop which goes along the rim of the mesa to three points overlooking the valley below. If you want to meet us at the trail head, please leave a note below. Wear good hiking boots. Bring poles, hat, sunscreen, plenty of water and snacks. Dogs on leash are welcome . Plan to offer your driver $8.00 for gas. PLEASE CHECK BACK DAY OF FOR ANY UPDATES.
