About this event
Join us on the 4th Tuesday of the month from 3-5pm for a session led by group facilitator Mari Van Court of Health Resource Navigators. Death Conversations is a relaxed space for people to explore matters related to end-of-life care and planning with a sense of curiosity. This group offers a level of comfort about the topic, and functions as a discussion and workshop space rather than a grief support or counselling session. This month is our Healthcare Related End-of-Life Documents Workshop, in which we will: Distinguish between end-of-life healthcare related documents and other legal planning tools Provide definitions for commonly used terms in end-of life planning Healthcare power of attorney Advance directives POLST forms DNR orders Explain the nature of the documents and clarify who they are directed towards and then take each document separately and explain important features of each Provide time for you to think about and work on your own documents and ask questions about them
