About this event

Space is limited and registration is required. This workshop is intended for creators 13+ years of age, please register all attending participants. Say cheese! Want to learn some beginning embroidery skills? Then you're in luck with this fun workshop to make a cute vintage-style camera zipper bag. Spend a relaxing afternoon crafting and learn the basics of hand sewing and using felt in order to create an image out of fabric. This little bag will be handy and also turn heads with its creativity. Once you learn how to do this, there's no limit to other styles you can make. No experience necessary and supplies will be provided. About the Presenter: Tova Opatrny is the creator behind the YouTube channel Professor Pincushion, making high-quality video tutorials for beginners. Tova's work has appeared in HuffPost, Good Housekeeping, and Cosmopolitan, among others. She's written the book Professor Pincushion's Beginner Guide to Sewing: Garment Making for Nervous Newbies.
