Constant Readers' : Different Seasons

King is best known for horror, but he’s written in several genres. Seasons is a collection of four novellas that demonstrate the author’s range: a prison break story; a psychological thriller about the “friendship” between a teen boy and a Nazi in hiding; a memoir about growing up; and the tale of a pregnant woman who will do anything to give birth to her baby. Only the last is explicitly horror, but all are engaging, psychologically astute, and a blast to read. The Constant readers’ Book Group is open to everyone.
