Compose Yourself! Project Composition Master Class

About this event

Each year, the HB Compose Yourself! Project Master Class allows young composers to share their original music and develop their creative voices. Directed by Dr. Derek Cooper in partnership with Copland House, the master class brings students together with accomplished professional composers for thoughtful feedback, guidance, and conversation about the compositional process. This special event celebrates creativity, musical exploration, and the next generation of composers. This year’s guest composers and additional program information will be announced soon. Master Classes are open to the public to observe free of charge.
