« All Events Coaches’ Improv Comedy Tournament April 12, 2026 | 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm The coaches are in charge, and things are about to get interesting. Big Couch’s first-ever Coaches’ Improv Tournament is here! Eight of our favorite improvisers from our faculty and Big Big Show cast have volunteered to coach brand-new troupes, put them through their paces, and then send them out to compete in front of you. Two nights. Multiple teams. One championship. And a live audience that gets to help decide who wins. Each team gets 12 to 14 minutes to perform their best long-form improv. Think quick wits, bold choices, and characters you won’t see coming. Judges will be scoring the sets, and the audience plays a role in crowning the champion. Watching freshly-formed improv teams compete under pressure, coached by some of New Orleans’ best improvisers, is an absolute blast. The stakes are high, the laughs are guaranteed, and you’ll be part of deciding who takes home eternal glory.
