Civics 101: State Government

About this event

Learn how state government works and how you can be involved! With a focus on the three branches of state government and using materials from Teach with TVW and the state legislature, this interactive workshop will explore the structure of state government in Washington, how bills become law, and how you can track and participate in the legislative process. You will leave with with tools and ideas for state civic engagement. Refreshments provided. Registration not required, but please register if you'd like to reserve your seat and receive a reminder about the event.
