Civics 101: Federal Government

About this event

Discover how the federal government works and how you can make a difference! This workshop will explore the role of our federal government, with a focus on the values embedded in the founding documents, the "separation of powers" between the three branches, and constitutional provisions around citizenship and voting rights. Refreshments provided. Registration not required, but please register if you'd like to reserve your seat and receive a reminder about the event. Civics 101 is an interactive workshop series exploring how our government works and ways to engage at different levels. You can attend any or all of the four events.
