Brindlewood Bay has a problem. For a quaint New England vacation town, the murder rate is — frankly — extraordinary. The police are doing their best. Their best is not enough. That's where the Murder Mavens Mystery Book Club comes in. You play a group of sharp, resourceful women of a certain age who have decided that if anything is going to get solved around here, they're going to have to do it themselves. **Brindlewood Bay** is a collaborative mystery RPG where the whodunit isn't solved in advance — not even by the GM. The answer emerges from play, built out of clues, suspicions, and the very specific tropes of 1980s mystery television. Think "Murder, She Wrote." Think "Golden Girls." Think: what would actually happen if those women investigated the crime themselves? * Collaborative mystery structure: the solution builds at the table * Roleplay-heavy, social-first, low mechanical overhead * 1980s television as genre touchstone * No prior experience with the system — or the genre — needed No prep required.
