The History Center’s May Book Club selection explores a story of exploration and identity with Laila Lalami’s “The Moor’s Account” on Thursday, May 20, 2027. This free event will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Tampa Bay History Center, with the option to join via Zoom. Brooke Kelly will serve as the reviewer for this month’s discussion. Topics range from fiction to food, poetry to politics. Free with registration, the History Center’s book group meets in person and via Zoom from 10:30-11:30 a.m. on the third Thursday of each month.
