Bird Walk at Sodalis Nature Preserve

There aren’t just bats flying at Sodalis Nature Preserve. The Walk will be led by members of the Mississippi Hills Master Naturalists. There are many spring migrants as they stop to refresh themselves along Bear Creek before making their way further north or the ones that are establishing their territory and building nests. It’s an exciting time to listen and observe the birds at the Sodalis Nature Preserve. Bring binoculars and check out the Merlin Bird App for learning bird calls. Beginner and experienced birders welcome. This is an easy, slow walk on the flat parts of the paved trail and covers about a mile. Nature programs are free due to the generosity of Hannibal BASF
