About this event

Gardening extends beyond just the summer months. This session will help you become a more skilled gardener in every season—fall, winter, and spring—with expert support from Washington County Master Gardeners and free resources available through the Washington County Extension Service. Your year‑round gardening success starts here! About the speakers Jessica Guillory brings over 30 years of hands-on experience growing and preserving food for her family—shaped by family mentorship, extensive study, and trial and error. Through her business, Sprouted Kitchen Gardens, she empowers urban growers to cultivate, use, and preserve their own food. She holds a certificate in Horticultural Therapy from Colorado State and the Horticultural Therapy Institute. Blending her dual expertise, she also leads wellness classes highlighting the therapeutic power of the garden. Jessica is pleased to be with the Washington County Master Gardeners which provides both the opportunity to teach and to learn alongside fellow gardeners. Caleb Israel is a certified Washington County Master Gardener and currently serves as Treasurer. A longtime gardener and plant enthusiast, he enjoys helping others discover practical and approachable ways to grow their gardening knowledge and confidence. Beyond the garden, Caleb is a U.S. Air Force veteran with a background in business, law, operations, and education. He is actively involved in the Northwest Arkansas community through teaching, volunteer work, and community service. Caleb enjoys bringing people together, sharing what he has learned, and encouraging others to stay curious—both in the garden and beyond."
