About this event

This is a beginner-friendly bass meetup for adults who want a relaxed, supportive place to learn the instrument that holds the band together. Bass is one of the best instruments for people who want to play music with others. You don’t have to be flashy. You don’t have to shred. You learn how to hold down the groove, support the song, and become the steady heartbeat of the band. We’ll work on simple bass lines, basic rhythm, common patterns, and how bass fits with guitar, drums, vocals, and the rest of a song. You can show up with zero experience. Bring a bass and small amp if you have one. If you don’t have one yet, message me before the event. I have one available to try, and I can also point you toward affordable starter options. **Event Level** * **Level 1:** True beginner. No experience needed at all. You can show up having never touched the instrument before. **Cost**: $15 per session Please pay ahead via Venmo to lock in your spot.
