About this event

If you've always meant to come back to music — or finally pick it up for the first time — this is your door. This is a level 1, beginner-friendly guitar meetup for adults who want a relaxed, encouraging place to learn. Most folks here are picking up a guitar for the first time, or coming back to one they haven't touched in decades. You can show up with zero experience. We work on basic chords, simple strumming, and real songs you'll actually recognize — The Beatles, Cat Stevens, the Cranberries, The Eagles, Ben E. King. Songs you grew up with. Each month we pick one and learn it together. I lead the class myself. The goal isn't perfection. It's progress, confidence, and remembering that you're allowed to learn something new at any age. Bring an acoustic guitar, or an electric with a small amp. Don't have one yet? Message me before you come and have a few guitars that people can borrow. We always end with a casual group play-through so everyone gets to join in, no matter where they're at. Each session builds gently on the last, but you can drop in anytime. **Event Level** * **Level 1:** True beginner. No experience needed at all.
