About this event
Celebrate and exercise your freedom to read at our Banned Book Club, where we read a variety of nationally banned and challenged books. The Chocolate War by Robert Cormier follows freshman Jerry Renault as he challenges a powerful school tradition by refusing to participate in a fundraiser. His act of defiance sparks a fierce battle against manipulation, conformity, and abuse of power, raising enduring questions about courage and individuality. Copies available at the Information Desk.
