About this event
Celebrate and exercise your freedom to read at our Banned Book Club, where we read a variety of nationally banned and challenged books. Beloved by Toni Morrison follows Sethe, a formerly enslaved woman haunted by the ghost of her lost daughter. As past and present collide, Morrison explores the enduring scars of slavery, the strength of motherhood, and the struggle to reclaim identity, freedom, and hope. Copies available at the Information Desk.
