About this event
Wet-plate collodion gives the photographer roughly fifteen minutes: the plate has to be coated, exposed, and developed before it dries. Shake Balkowitsch creates one start to finish in front of the audience, from blank plate to a finished image. Everyone who buys a ticket before the 2 PM start is entered into a drawing to sit as the subject for the demonstration, and the winner receives a print of the finished plate by mail.
