Anti-Gone | Electric City Trolley Station and Museum in Scranton Friday, October 9–Saturday, October 10, 2026 | Friday 7:30 PM; Saturday 1 PM & 5:30 PM Anti-Gone comes to the Electric City Trolley Station and Museum in Scranton, PA, on Friday, October 9, and Saturday, October 10, as part of the 2026 Scranton Fringe Festival. Performances are Friday at 7:30 PM and Saturday at 1 PM and 5:30 PM. This daring adaptation of Sophocles’ Antigone gives audiences an active role in determining the drama’s outcome. Using the democratic vote, audience members help explore the conflicts at the center of the ancient story. A modern acting troupe confronts the strict societal values presented in the classic work. Through discussion with the audience, the production considers whether a different ending for Antigone could be possible after 2,500 years. Tickets are $15. Anti-Gone brings an interactive adaptation of a classic Greek tragedy to the Scranton Fringe Festival in Scranton.
