Create original anime-inspired characters with guided drawing exercises! Ages 11-18 Ongoing class: Every Other Tuesday, 4:00pm - 6:00pm. $30. Students will learn the basics of proportion, expression, and visual storytelling while exploring influences from anime and comic art. Through guided instruction and hands-on drawing exercises, you will develop a simple character design system that allows you to create consistent and personalized characters. The class encourages creativity and experimentation so you can begin developing your own artistic style! In each session, you'll learn techniques that will allow you to create a character based on yourself or someone you would like to commemorate, illustrated in an anime-inspired style.
