Tech Lab. Join us for our next installment in the Musical Movie Night series to watch Hairspray! Enjoy this film adaptation of the stage musical adapted from the non-musical John Waters film. This 2007 musical set in the 60's stars Nikki Blonsky, John Travolta, Christopher Walken, and Queen Latifah to tell the story of plucky Tracy Turnblad, who's dream it is to dance on the Corny Collins show. She faces injustice and inequality at every turn, and becomes a leader of integration and equality efforts in her hometown of Baltimore and on the Corny Collins show, all set to original music in pop 60s style by Marc Shaiman. The film is just under 2 hours, and we will have popcorn and seltzer. Bringing your own snacks is also encouraged!
