Adele Brice Day Anointing of the Sick

Each month on the 9th,Tthe Shrine observes Adele Brice Day, commemorating the faithful witness of Adele Brice and her mission entrusted by Our Lady of Champion. While the daily rhythm of prayer and Mass at The Shrine remains the same, this day is uniquely marked by the opportunity to receive the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick following the 11:30 AM Mass. This sacrament offers Christ’s healing grace, bringing strength, peace, and comfort to those who are experiencing illness, preparing for medical procedures, or facing the challenges of aging. All who are in need of this sacrament are warmly invited to participate and encounter the Lord’s compassionate care in a special way on this day.
