A Reflective Workshop on Death, Meaning & Presence at AlmaDose in Denver, CO on Friday, June 5, 2026. Tickets from $40.
What does it mean to truly live when we allow ourselves to face death? This guided workshop with Kendra is an intimate, community-centered space to explore our relationship with mortality, gently, honestly, and without agenda. Inspired by the spirit of the Death Cafe movement, this gathering invites open reflection on death as a way to deepen connection, presence, and meaning in our lives. Participants will be guided through a thoughtfully curated experience. Agenda will look like: \- Journaling to explore personal beliefs\, fears\, and insights around mortality \- Creative expression / art\-making as a non\-verbal pathway into reflection \- Somatic \(body\-based\) practices to support grounding\, awareness\, and integration \- Optional group sharing in a respectful\, confidential circle This is not a therapy session, nor is it a lecture. It is a facilitated space for self-inquiry, creative exploration, and shared humanity. Who This Is For: \- Individuals curious about mortality\, meaning\, and conscious living \- Those interested in blending reflective practices with creative and somatic work \- People seeking a grounded\, intentional alternative to traditional discussion spaces Who This May Not Be For: \- Those currently in acute emotional or psychological distress \- Anyone seeking a recreational or substance\-focused experience This workshop invites you to slow down, turn inward, and explore one of the most universal yet often avoided aspects of human experience. In doing so, many find not heaviness, but clarity, gratitude, and a deeper sense of aliveness.
