About this event
Start your 3D printing and designing journey with PPLD 3D modeling using Tinkercad, a free, online 3D design software. No previous experience required. After completing this badging class, you will be able to use the 3D printers on your own during open hours at the makerspaces at East and Sand Creek libraries, as well as Library 21c. If you are unable to attend this badging class or would prefer not to attend in person, a virtual badging option is available. This class is only for tweens ages 9 – 12, however we have Tinkercad & 3D printer badging classes for ages 9 and up as well. You can find other Tinkercad classes for teens, adults, and seniors at all three makerspaces. An adult guardian will need to always be with the participant in the makerspace. All participants will need to have a makerspace waiver signed by an adult guardian to attend this class or use the makerspace. The signer must be present and show an ID to complete the waiver. Please set up a free Tinkercad.com account before attending. Tinkercad accounts for minors may take several days for Autodesk Inc. to process, so please create an account after registering. PPLD has no control over Tinkercad accounts. All participants must have their own library card. Please contact one of the makerspaces for more information. Registration required. Ages 9 – 12.
