Inkscape Design Level 1 and Laser Badging

About this event

Take the first steps into designing graphics and laser cutting. Using Inkscape, a free vector graphics software, we will create custom project designs to engrave and cut on 1/8-inch wood pieces. No previous experience required, and all materials will be provided. After completing this badging class, you will be able to use the laser cutter on your own during open hours at the makerspaces at East and Sand Creek libraries, as well as Library 21c. If you are unable to attend this badging class or would prefer not to attend in person, a virtual badging option is available. Makerspace classes can fill up quickly, so please sign up when registration opens. If you are unable to be part of this class, you can find other Inkscape classes at all three makerspaces. All participants must have their own library card. Please contact one of the makerspaces for more information. Registration required. Ages 9 and up.
