Clare Longendyke, presented by the Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic, at the Grand Ballroom of the Scranton Cultural Center in Scranton on Thursday, March 4, 2027, at 7:00 p.m. This immersive concert places the audience in the round for a unique orchestral experience. Led by Music Director Mélisse Brunet, the program pairs Antonín Dvořák’s celebrated Symphony No. 9, “New World” with Florence Price’s rarely performed Piano Concerto, featuring acclaimed pianist Clare Longendyke. Performed in the Grand Ballroom rather than the theater auditorium, the concert offers audiences an intimate perspective on the orchestra from every angle. The performance runs approximately 1 hour and 35 minutes, including a 20-minute intermission. Tickets are $16 for students with valid ID, $29 for adults and $53 for premium seating.
