(CANDLE)LIT Brandenburg 5 | Saint Luke’s Episcopal Church in Scranton Friday, January 29, 2027 | 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Experience (CANDLE)LIT Brandenburg 5, presented by the Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic, at Saint Luke’s Episcopal Church in Scranton on Friday, January 29, 2027, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. This candlelit concert showcases Johann Sebastian Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 5 in the historic church’s intimate setting. Performed without a conductor, the program features a large ensemble of flute, strings and harpsichord, bringing the brilliance of Bach’s Baroque masterpiece to life by candlelight. Featured performers include NEPA Philharmonic flutist Barbara Hopkins, harpsichordist Dongsok Shin and additional NEPA Philharmonic musicians and special guests. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. The performance runs approximately 60 to 70 minutes without an intermission. Advance tickets are $29 for adults and $16 for students with valid ID.
