Join us Saturday, September 19th, from 1 to 4 PM at the West Oakland Branch Library for an afternoon of healing, connection, and empowerment! This community-centered event promotes holistic and inclusive Black maternal care by combining education, accessible resources, spirituality, ancestral wisdom, and collective healing. Experience community healing through: -Speakers, storytelling, and Q&A -Journaling and affirmation exercises -Flower seed starting -Herbalists -Midwives and Doulas -International Board Certified Lactation Consultants -Community Therapy resources -Youth organizations that center on young mothers and reproductive services -Local reproductive justice, birthing, holistic health, and Black maternal-centered organizations -County and community services Let’s come together to learn, challenge racism in healthcare, uplift Black birth joy and wholeness, and build community!
