NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS CITY OF PRATTVILLE MCQUEEN SMITH ROAD AND JAY STREET INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS PRATTVILLE, AUTAUGA COUNTY, ALABAMA BID NO. 026-002 Sealed bids for McQueen Smith Road and Jay Street Intersection Improvements – Bid No.: 026-002 will be received by the City of Prattville in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 101 W. Main Street, Prattville, AL 36067, until 10:00 am, Thursday, April 9, 2026, and at that time publicly opened and read aloud at said location. The bracket estimate on this project is from $185,000.00 to $215,000.00. This bracket range is shown only to provide general financial information to contractors and bonding companies concerning the project’s complexity and size. This bracket should not be used in preparing a bid, nor will this bracket have any bearing on the decision to award the contract. The principal items of work are approximate as follows: 450 Tons of Bituminous Concrete Paving, 328 Linear Feet of Storm Drain Pipe, and related items. The entire project shall be completed in 45 calendar days. To be eligible for consideration, bids must be submitted on complete original proposals made available by the Engineer.
